Lucky Center is a dynamic and friendly English language school based in Sofia, Bulgaria. We offer a range of language courses to adults and children as well as translation services. Our focus is on adapting quickly to individual student needs and styles of learning. We are innovative in our approach to language learning through speaking, weSpeak. We constantly improve our courses to meet the needs of our students.

Why do most people find it so difficult to learn a new language?

Well, it is really important HOW and WHEN you study a language. It takes more than just enrolling on a course and doing it automatically. We believe that people learn in different ways depending on their individual characteristics and it is a common mistake to apply the same methods and style to everyone. Take the simplest example, some people feel better studying in a group, others need individual tuition, and still others need both.

Our approach

Our approach presupposes proper initial analysis not just of your language needs but of your style of learning, attitude and personality. Next we decide on the language steps you are going to take. We do this not only through placement tests but also through initial placement interview with you. It is just then that we start the training itself. Most people complain they study a foreign language all their lives and learn next to nothing or cannot communicate successfully in it. We want to avoid that. Proper initial analysis of your language needs and the right learning strategy for you save you time, money and energy.

We want you to apply the things you learn immediately and learn them once and for all.

We are a team of philologists who went all the way through the whole learning process and we have been going through it over and aver again for many years. We know how difficult and boring it can be. Therefore, we want to make it easy and pleasant for you. That is our task – to process the difficult part of learning and make it easily digestible for you. We do not want you to be just the ‘regular’ student. We want you to be an equal and active participant in your foreign language career. After all, it is a whole other world waiting for you to interact with it. You will be surprised to find how nice it feels to be part of the process called Foreign Language Learning.

The language training in our center complies with the standard language competence levels as defined in the COMMON EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK OF REFERENCE FOR LANGUAGES.
